This was a two person show with my friend Doug Young. I arrived with nothing and not exactly sure what I was going to do. I did have a premonition of a bed and couch next to each other in the exhibition space. From there I thought I would apply my organizational skills and clean up some messes. But upon arriving at the space and taking a look around. I had an "Oh Shit" moment... the apartment was perfect, meticulously arranged and organized. There was nothing to be done with out totally destroying the beautiful world that Gwendolyn and Bill had obviously spent much time putting together. Luckily Doug came to the rescue baring permission... and whiskey. After a couple of discussions I decided to just make paintings-sculpture-art, what ever you may call it, out of Gwendolyn and Bill's life in objects. Their things equaled my palette. Nothing was added or subtracted, just moved. Nothing can be destroyed, it can only change the arrangement of it's parts.
